My Fridge Is Being All Weird

I have a mini fridge, and just noticed that it is continually switching on and off. It will come on for a few seconds and then go off. And then come on again. I’ve never noticed it do this before. Any idea what’s wrong with it, and if it is faulty?

It is trying to keep to the correct temperature. Is the door shut properly? Are the seals clean and in proper contact? Is there anything obstructing the seals?
Have you recently put anything even slightly warm in your fridge - or frozen?

Thanks for your reply – I’ll check everything you mentioned. I haven’t put anything different in it, but I will check the seals.

It might be worth moving the temperature control knob round from one end of it's travel to the other several times (after first making a note of it's initial position).
