so i went to get braces fitted today and my dentist put in some white thing and its kind of hard on my tooth. it doesnt even let me bite down properly and when i bite down only one tooth connects. i find it hard to eat, how long will this white thing last?(sorry idk the name of the white thing)

Did you have an invisiline fitted? This is a clear plastic brace that you take out for eating only, brush your teeth and put back in. It is changed at regular intervals. Your dentist should have told you what to do
