The drain tube has possibly become detached somewhere (or holed).
Water fill pipe has become disconnected? Have you pulled it out?

The machine, of course.
As canary says there is a plastic/rubber tube from the bottom of the tub to the pump. It's usually this one that goes although the one the other side of the pump can go. Of course the drum can hole too - only ever seen this once.

After checking the obvious Take the machine out, turn it on its side to access the bottom and have a look. Use the drum locks if you have them.
Have you cleaned out the filter, if it has one lately? I tend to do mine every couple of months but my niece didnt do hers and had a flood and this was why. She does it now though, lesson learnt.
filter? quesque c'est?
