receipt for sending a parcel says 3.0 when the address is 30 and 3.0 makes it seem like it will go to number three any advice

Doubtless you'll discover if it goes to the wrong address. You could always ask the Post Office...

3.0 isn't normally an address, I'd wait and see if anything goes wrong but maybe warn the recipient.

What did your address label say... if it was 30 thats where it should go, its only an issue if it gets lost and you want to claim

Check the postcodes for number 3 and number 30 as they might be on different sides of the road.

If it's in a row of houses, one side is likely to have a different postcode from the other and since "3" is odd and "30" is odd, if they look at the postcode, that will confirm the correct number.
