I had to try and change my driving lesson to an hour tomorrow but my instructor is coming from like an hour drive away so said wouldn't be worth it for an hour. Truth is I can't afford hour and a half as I still got presents to buy. He said we will start back up to hour and half after Christmas. I don't want to seem unreliable

I think that ship has well and truly sailed!

Question Author

I don't weather to message and ask is lesson still available

You've just said you can't afford it.

Question Author

So what do I do if I can't afford? Someone probably got my slot now anyway

Seriously? If you can't afford it, don't have it. You appear to have cancelled it anyway 🤔

Question Author

I asked for an hour and he said it best to cancel and do an hour and a half again after Xmas

Abbey, does someone have your slot because you cancelled the lesson?

Question Author

I haven't asked

Thought your new instructor was female but maybe I am mistaken.  With your sore arm, maybe not a good idea to drive anyway.

Question Author

No I sacked that one as she cancelled three time and had two lessons with her

How many times have you cancelled driving lessons?

Question Author

Twice with this one and he cancelled once

Find someone more local so it's worth their while to do an hour

Are there any driving instructors that you haven't used yet?  Is this your 4th one in a year?

Question Author

There's not many auto instructor

Abbey, wouldn't you be as well waiting until you have a real job - and real money - before continuing with your driving lessons? You've spent an awful long time  on it so far - and if paying for an extra half-hour lesson is beyond you...

Question Author

My 1st was manual which I couldn't do then this auto lady who kept cancelling now this one.

If ABBEY can drive and has access to a car, she'll not have to rely on public transport to get to and from work so the sooner she passes, the better.

Do you have access to a car, Abbey? (And I wouldn't count the man at the dog's home who likes to give you lifts and treat you.)
