Lidl Plus App Query.?

Hi today a shop assistant kindly installed the Lidl Plus App on my mobile but there was a big queue and i did not ask him how do you use it.

 

Anybody on here got the Lidl Plus App and can explain in simple terms for me how to use it please.? or anybody else please.?  I do know you can get a little discount with it.  Any help much appreciated. TIA.
