Is a nightclub a private or a public place ? I suspect it is a private place that the public has access to if they pay the entrance fee. In which case folk may not have an automatic right to take pictures.

As part of her University course, my granddaughter wanted to take photos inside a nightclub.  She first of all approached the manager for permission then spoke to individuals and groups before taking their photos. Most were fine with it but a few objected and this was not a problem for my granddaughter.  She did say that had she drank all that was offered to her that night she would have ended up in hospital.  She just explained she was working.

Let's hope this is the beginning!! So someday soon camera phones in clubs and concerts become a thing of the past!!
