broken phone

I dropped my phone in my coffee yesterday morning and now it is broken. I think it is still getting messages but the screen is just dark so you can't see or do anything with it. Is there any way of fixing it?

Open it up and dry it out best you can. Leave it to dry thoroughly in its own time. I've heard that sometimes this will do the trick.

Give it time - It might take a day or two.

Depends if there was suger in the coffee! If not just leave it to dry out for a week.

It may just be overdosed on caffeine. Try dropping it in a glass of water in which you have dissolved a couple of Vallium tablets.

If you left the battery in place after you took it out of the coffee then it is probably in a sorry condition, the wet coffee will have acted like conductors and short circuits and it will probably require major repair now.

Note: anything battery powered which falls in coffee, tea, water, urine, etc.... Take it out of the liquid and Immediately remove the battery before even thinking of what to do next.

Leave it out to dry but be careful it doesnt turn into a biscuit.
