BURNING RUBBER!!!!!!

Silly question.

good question.....

gotta be some genius on here that can answer it for you...

i'm guessing that that is the colour of the smoke when rubber burns, it shouldn't be too much of a surprise, after all when you throw fresh grass cuttings on a fire you don't get green smoke. Light a match and the smoke isn't red...
same as saying when you burn leaves or branches, why isnt the smoke brown or green. Silly question mate
a dose of white smoke?

NOT a silly question agent4..

korean tyre manufacturer "KUHMO" have developed a tyre called "ECSTA MX-C".

this tyre produces RED SMOKE.

When an organic material, rubber, burns, it produces carbon particles - soot (and a load of other things) these are very small and will scatter, absorb and possible reflect the light giving the smoke a grey colour.
