i have my bills addressed at my current property, but my bank accounts /credits cards are all at my previous address where my family still live, as i am applying for a mortgage from my current address will this cause problems with ID at 2 addresses?.the reason for not changing to new address was that i was not intending to stay long at my current address and i wanted to avoid the hassle and also i had the advantage that i could collect my mail from my old family address

thx

I can easily answer this one as I have recently had exactly the same issue - all my bills are addressed to the flat where I live but my bank statements and credit cards are still registered at my parents address (in another town)

I have in the last couple of days received my mortgage offer and there were no issues at all with the different addresses - apparently this is quite a common problem with first time buyers and mortgage providers are used to dealing with this.

I had to provide bank statements. a passport and two bills from my flat and I had no problems at all.

Hope this helps
