the white satin wood paint on my doors and skirting boards has started to yellow. how can i restore without repainting

have you tried washing them with warm soppy water

sugar soap will give you a better result but it's the paint itself that's discolouring so i think repainting may be the only option.

hope someone else has a better idea because mine are the same and i hate painting!

White paint tends to yellow when it is in shade - there is something in the paint that reacts with light to keep white, I think. Can you increase the amount of light getting to the paint - that might help.
