Is this to get into a night club?

where are we talkin? aberdeen by any chance??

If it is a night club then chances are you can't get in with out ID...no matter how old you are. If you do get in then think about this...if bar staff serve somebody alcohol who looks over 18, and they turn out the be 16 then i could face a on the spot fine of 80+ and the venue can be instantly shut down, the manager could also face a prison sentence and anything up to 2000 fine. Your fun night out could spoil other people lives. "over 18" rules are there for a reason. To protect you and the business.
I've got a hint- how about waiting till you are 18?
Just so you know, if you look about 18 or 19 when dolled up, bouncers will just assume you are 15 or 16 (or even younger) but with a load of slap on.
if its Amadeus in Rochester then i wouldnt bother
if people say u look 18 or 19 dolled up...why are you asking for help.

When I was 19 I couldn't even buy cigarettes or lottery tickets !!! without showing ID, even then they thought it was fake. I was 19 having to get my 15year old sister to buy my lottery tickets as she looked older than 16....pity it dont work now at 26! lol

I figure there's not much point in trying to dissuade you, since I think everyone wants to get into pubs and clubs when they're your age.

My advice is:
Don't try too hard - if you're "18" you shouldn't be panicking about getting in to places.
Don't wear clothes made of Lycra. Especially not baby blue or pastel pink.
And keep your shoes on...
I'd go for the demure / classy look - not OTT, but maybe black suit shorts and a nice top and closed-toe heels. That'll age you more than just flashing all your bits, and you'll look more like the type of person they'd want in their club.

That said, I don't know what this club is like - You might get IDed as a matter of course, in which case, it's an early bus home for you ;)
My advice is to just give it punt. Just bowl in like you have been going for years and as though you own the place.
Pretend not to bothered whether you get in or not and that in fact this wasnt your first choice anyway.
if you do get knocked back dont kick off or start crying or anything - just be polite and walk away.
Then just nip down the offy and buy a bottle of white lightning and drink it in a bus stop.
When you are 16 getting in to nightclubs seems like the most important thing in the world but you should just accept that sometimes you aint gonna get in - its part of the fun.
Try and have a good time whatever you do - but stay safe!

Go with people who are over 18 and who have valid ID. If possible, borrow photographic ID from a friend or sibling who looks like you, this is better than getting an fake ID that the bouncers can spot a mile off!

Other than that, walk confidently towards the door, as if you are not expecting to be stopped and asked to show ID

...And don't write anything down.

Eddie, how many people do you know that this has happened to? Hundreds of young people do this every week, we all did when I was in school. I'm not going to preach because I'm still young (ish) and I still remember being in your situation! I never heard of anyone ending up with a criminal record!

Anyone that is caught trying to gain entry to premises with fake ID runs a very real risk of being arrested & charged with forgery. Conviction would result in a criminal record.

Not sure whether using someone else's ID to gain entry could result in a record (as I assume that is deception rather than forgery) but the licensee and the bar staff could easily end up with ones if they are found to be serving anyone under-age.

"If it is a night club then chances are you can't get in without ID"

My wee sister does every week :(
And if you're reading this, wee yin, then your birthday IS cancelled. You're not 18 until next year (if ever) !! ;-)
