Some of the "simple" answers I've seen here defy belief! LOL
With other percentages I'd do
407 x 17.5 %
for the VAT alone and press

to add the original 407

i have enough trouble trying to get my son to realise that if he wants a job that is higher than cleaner at McXXXX he is going to have to learn to construct proper sentences.
