B/F troubles

I've found myself a BF and he's a real catch, and not at all bad in the boudoir if you know what i mean!!!! trouble is, I think i might be falling harder for him than he is for me. This is why i say this:
1. He's never introduced me to his friends or family.
2. I've never actually been to his house, he always comes over, he says its because he lives with his mother and she's a bit funny with things like this.
3. He has 2 mobile phones, and i only have the number for one. He says the other is for 'emergencies'.
4. I see him on thursday, saturday and monday every week without fail, and if i suggest alternating this pattern he refuses point blank.

I think he used to be a bit of a player, and finds it hard to adjust to being in a couple, but im also aware there might be a more sinister reason for his behaviour! Do u think i should 'investigate' further, i.e. go through his phone, go to his house etc? Or should i trust him and see how it goes?
