Could someone on answerbank give me an answer to my question please,I am purchasing an Olympus Digital camera that has 10 pixels but I've been told by a friend that I will not get so many pictures in storage as if I go for a few less pixels say about 8 pixels is this correct.

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.That is right.The more megapixel the camera the more memory each picture will use.But with most cameras you can reduce the ammount of megapixels you use when taking pictures.So if you have a 10 megapixels camera then you can change it to take the pictures at say 5 megapixels which will allow you to fit more pictures on your memory card.If you want a better quality picture then you can change it back to 10 megapixels
