But the pump may be just stuck. Find your pump (normally in the airing cupboard near the hot water tank).It will be mounted on a hot pipe and have an electric cable going to it. It is a bit bigger than a baked bean tin on its side and should have a silver round bit in the middle (about the size of a 10p) with a slot in it to take a screw driver(Most common make is Grundfos). Unscrew this silver disc (a couple of drops of water may come out, don't worry). In the hole is either a nut or slot for a screw driver. This is the end of the pump spindle. It should turn fairly easily. If it is stuck you may need to use a little force to get it to turn. Once you have moved it a bit, trip your heating and hopefully(!) you should hear the pump start to turn. If not, trying turning it again. Good luck!
