when do they update google earth because the hedge i cut down and replaced with a fence nearly 3 years ago is looking like it needs a trim!!!

Yer lucky you can see your place, our whole town and area is just a blur! yet I can see the plot of land where my sister has just had her house built in Australia as clear as day!!!!
It's constantly being updated, but the Earth's a big place and it will take a long time. The more detailed images can often be dated by observing any construction work shown to be in progress. My area is shown as a messy blob, but for a nearby city, you can make out the colour of the clothes pedestrians are wearing, and whether vehicles are parked on double yellow lines.
There are 2007 images in some parts of the UK, especially London. But there's also some parts that are very low res e.g west Wales
i think its a bit rubbish to be truthful. all my area is blurred and anywhere i find interesting to look at.
google earth, multimap, and many others are at least 4/5 years out of date. Even the land registry aerial views are old.
It seems these aerial views are shared.

Well my old car is still in the driveway and I got rid of it over a year ago.......
