A look at a review : http://www.riva3d.com/aura.html .. it seems it simply connects to an audio source. If you use your TV as the audio source for your PS2 then I would suggest plugging the Aura into the headphone socket on your TV set, or plug the SCART audio phonos into a hi-fi and use that.
