Is it just me or do you also find the 5 series ugly? Chris Bungle as he is now know has messed up enough models I think

Yep, I agree. I'm just about to trade in my R reg 318ISE for a new one, I think that shape is just right but still i had to warm to it :o) The 5 Series I think are too wide also.

Sad to say it but yes. I have just bought an Audi. I had the choice and tested a BMW, but it just wasnt good enough.

Sure what does it matter? People with lots of money generally have no taste anyway.

I'm now looking at an old-style 5 series precisely because the new ones are so ugly (they're so new-europe renault-megane looking - if you know what I mean ;-))

I guess it must be such a huge dilemma choosing a car when you can only afford one. You poor souls! ;-)

ok, not being snobby here, but i have lots of money and that has caused me to be able to not only have the best, but have taste. if one is poor then they are limited in their choice and taste degrades. by the way i hate bmw. my theory is those who cannot afford a brand new one go for a second hand one, which shows they are poor, and the wannabes who CAN afford a new one and are doing it for the stereotype. bmws have gone done in the last 10 years and are terrible in comparison to audi for example. long live the aristocracy!

woops, and in answer to the q, yes they are ugly, they are designed by americans now for the american market, so bmw uses the american design for the world market, not just the flipping US
