Hello, I am thinking of buying another Ipod, possibly an ipod shuffle so that i don't have to take the more expensive ipod video out with me all the time.

What i want to know is will i be able to put music on it that i have already bought off itunes for the othe one or will it be proteced with that drm thing?

Well it will be protected with DRM (if you've bought from the iTunes Media Store, I'd advise you to not, except for iTunes Plus songs).

However, the DRM allows it to be stored on about 5 different devices. You'll need to authorise your iPod with your iTunes account (like your current iPod is too), and you'll be set to go.
