wireless connections

intelpro cannot find any wireless networks on my inspiration9300 laptop even though I have belkin F57230v4 router and ntl/virgin broadband modem. Can access router ok when using belkin netcard on desktop.

Start - my network places - view network connections.

Right click on the bottom icon (wireless network connection) and click properties

In the 'general tab' make sure 'internet protocol tcp/ip' is ticked.

Now switch everything off at the mains. Router, modem and all pcs. Wait at least 2 minutes and switch on in this exact order:

Modem. Wait a minute or two for the lights to settle

Router - wait again

Now the pc and laptop.
