I watched it last night, interesting film, moving, I gave it 7 out of 10 on IMDB, anyway perhaps some of you can explain something to me. Ok I know historically it's common for gay guys to also have families etc etc. What I don't get is how they can get aroused enough with a woman to produce as was portrayed in the film. Surely a gay man would find sex with a woman as abhorrent as a straight man would find sex with a man. So is the film realistic? how would a gay man go about it?

Ok thanks pickle. We are often told by the self proclaimed "experts" that gays are born not made. From your answer it seems that gay tenedencies can be caused by circumstances. This appears to be a contradictionto the afore mentioned view. Is there latent "gayness" waiting to surface?
