Thats weird Jenny, my Ford Puma slows down going uphill........ Fathom that.......

I had the saem problem and it was caused by a split in the rubber flange under the carburettor which opened when I stopped due to the momentum of the engine.

Try looking at the carb or the needle valve, either way its a job for a �50 an hour mechanic, robbing g*ts
