Chemistry

I have chemistry project due soon, One of the things that we have to do is "write a proposal for a new material". We also need to identify what elements and bonds it will have, but I've got that covered. I just need an idea for a new materail. It has to be something that no ones ever really thought of, and it needs some sort of purpose. it can not be a device, it must be a substance, any ideas...? P.S. I was sort of thinking about something that eats garbage, like maybe an acid, but I don't know.......
