Hi all, We are hiring an old hall for a wedding reception and the hall is rather bland and we wanted to cover the ceiling and walls!

As we are on a very tight budget how can we do this or where do we start? The room size is 14.5 m x 6.2 m (47 ft x 20 ft) so we are dealing with quite a large room. We've contacted drape hire companies in the South West but they are so expensive, 600+ is the chepest quote we've had!
This is what we wanted to do for the ceiling

Any advice would be really appreciated, thanks

Thanks Zacsmaster - yes we will check with them but if the maerial are not fire retardant there are some sprays that can be sprayed on for the protection.

Also I need to cover the walls 3m x 6.3m like a backdrop but don't know where to start! The material we want is all white & we've contacted fabric shops but the width I'm looking for is not available!
How about sheets? You might find some quite cheap ones on ebay.
