I am moving my TV from one side of the room to the other. I cannot seem to find any of the twin cable used from the dish to the box anywhere. Can I just joint it using normal, single co-ax cable?

I did the same just before christmas and from my dish it was actually two seperate co-ax cables not a single cable. I got the cable and ends from a local shop and extended it myself. (dont forget though for the best results you need the co-ax with the foil screening as well as the ordinary sceeening) It cost me about 10 for all the bits and pieces and the picture is spot on

Cheers Paddywak. When we had the dish fitted, the engineer used the new 2 cable joined together stuff (I think it's called shotgun cable). I can't seem to find any of it anywhere though.
glad to be able to help
hi, if you go on ebay and put in "shotgun cable" you will get various sellers, look for the one Gazglasgow, I have dealt with him several times and he sells various extension lengths and supplies all the clips and neccessary couplings. A really good service, but his packaging is quite a hoot , ie loads of sticky tape, try him u cant go wrong,
