I received a text from my friend....or so i thought!! I read the text ,and replied, yet he didnt kow what I was on about! He hadnt sent me one!!!! Anyone know how this is done? Im thinking its from a computer, or can someone post a site so I can find out?? please

what made you think it was from your friend? did it show the number?

it was his name! i texted back (replied) and he got it!! he definately did not text me first?

there is a web site where you can send a text and you have a section where you put in the phone number that has 'sent' it. very easy to send a text to sonmeone making out it's from any mobile that you know the number of. don't recall website name as i haven't used it for a couple of years. i used to cause it was free to do so saves credit and if you are on the internet anyway it's easier.
