how do i find the fastest intel processor compatible with my mother board? do i need the part number of my motherboard? how to i retrieve this? please help me thank you

The program called CPUZ will scan your computer and tell you everything about it (including motherboard details)

But bear in mind that ading a faster CPU to a motherboard may not give you a massive increase in performance.

CPU speed is only one thing that effects PC performance and BUS speed, memory speed, hard disk speed all have an impact.

So you may put in a CPU that is 30% faster than the one you have, but your computer may only go 10% faster.
