I have a '98 Vectra, not an SRI.  The procedure for changing the bulb is fully described in the manual, so I assume you don't have the manual.  Pity - it has diagrams.

There are separate bulbs for dipped and main beams, the outer ones for dipped, inner for main.

Open bonnet, remove headlamp protective cover.

Detach plug connector from bulb base.

Press bulb retaining clip to the side and swivel out.

Remove bulb from reflector housing.

Insert new bulb so that lug on bulb holder engages in recess in reflector.

Swivel retaining clip and engage.  Attach connector to bulb, place headlamp protective cover in position and close cover.

Hope that's of some help.

The only problem with the SRI and I should of mentioned this is that you have the battery and then a fuse box and you cannot get your hand to the back of the light to enable you to remove the bulb?
'Fraid I can't help any more then.  Sorry!  There must be a way that doesn't involve dismantling the car.
