The battery in my k reg escort went flat so i charged it up for most of the day but it still would'nt start. Could this be something to do with the immobiliser ? Any help would be much appreciated

How old is the battery ? If you have charged it for most of the day you may have 'cooked' it. What were the readings on the battery charger when charging ?
