Uk Economy Is Headed For The Worst Of...

A mate of mine's Canadian girlfriend has been staying with him here in Spain for a couple of months.
Her Visa is a 3 month tourist one, so she has to leave in a bit, or get sponsored (for which she would have to leave and re-enter from Canada?), or get married....
How does it work for re-entry on another 3 month Visa? Can she fly to Switzerland (out of Europe) and come back? (getting a new Visa as she re-enters Spain) Can she go the UK and then come straight back as well? Can she do neither of these things?
Is it completely banned, or is there a time limit, or what? Questions, questions.....

You can tell your friend that he would be advised to phone the Canadian Embassy in Ottawa and talk to the immigration department (you should find the number on google.com).
My wife is Canadian (from Montreal, Quebec). The route we took was she applied for residency as my fiancee with the confition that we got married within 6 months (which we did). After we were married she applied to UK government for "leave to remain". I was (and still am) her sponsor. She was not allowed to work in UK for 6 months, and we had to prove that funds were available to live on. (NO goverment financial help is available). After 2 years of marriage she will be allowed to apply for UK citizenship.. although she will actually apply for dual citizenship (Canada/UK) as she has family in Canada.
If your friend is in love and serious about this girl then marriage will probably be the best option (living together does not qualify).
As far as my wife knows, she will have to go back to Canada for 3 months before she will be given another 3 months visa to go to Spain. I do not know about work visas.
I hope this info helps..
