My youngest grandaughter is going to Australia next Jan. for six months so I wish to keep in touch with her cheaply as possible. Could the ABs recommend a site so that Im may read up about the subject as to what I will need etc etc. I will also give my daughter the info but it must be simple as I may be thick because of age but daughter has only just come to terms with the calculator. Many TIA

v.interesting....dont you need a camera somewhere on pc?

Where is the camera on this Dell Lat D620?
You don't need a camera to talk or instant message with Skype. Only to allow the person to see you. I don't have a webcam and use Skype all the time.
Barry, do you get good sound quality? I have used Skype many times, but always get poor quality sound - a bit like you are talking under water, if you know what I mean.
how about using your mobile, has it got skype on it?
