Hi,
I am using a HP Laserjet P3005X printer which normally uses a HP 51A cartridge.
However my supplier keeps sending me a 51X instead which is compatible but needs "a bit removing" - unfortunately they cannot provide me with any more information on what I need to do.

Does anyone know what I need to do to make it work?

Thanks in advance.

the 51x is the correct toner for your printer, it's the high capacity toner (13000 pages) whereas the 51a is the low capacity toner (600 pages)

it should just fit straight in.
BTW if they are sending you a 51x for the same price as a 51a you have done well, they are normally about £80 more!
