How can I tell if my computer has USB1 sockets or USB2?

1. Open Device Manager by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking System and Maintenance, and then clicking Device Manager.‌

2. Double-click Universal Serial Bus controllers.

3. If the word Enhanced is included in any of the listed controllers, your computer has USB 2.0 controller drivers installed.
