HP PSC 1410 Printer

My sister just got a new printer and gave me her old one - a HP PSC 1410. It's a printer/photocopier/scanner. The printer bit works fine. Absolutely perfect. But when I scan something, or photocopy something, all that I'm given is a black page. Any ideas?

Have you loaded the Installation disc that comes with it? You will need that.
