Trying to get to grips with bittorrent, tried to download a torrent and it was going to take 11 hours and then went to weeks and days. Red circle at bottom says not connected at port number ****** to check my router, using a wireless router D link 2640 r my ISP is talk talk, how do I connect to router settings to allow bittorrent to work properly, the last router I used was a home hub from bt and I just typed numbers into address bar and my password and I was in, any help would be greatly appreciated, dougie.

It was a tv programme that I missed.
Would it not be faster to watch online via catch up
is it not on any of the i players?

No, it is damages series 2 episode 3, I've watched 1&2 and have 4&5 on my pvr, I missed number 3.
Entering 192.168.1.1 into your web browser's address bar should enable you to access your router's settings.
