My husband took out a contract with carphone warehouse in january for 24 months.
We received a phone and a little netbook thing, and was happy paying £25 a month for the service BUT what we didnt realise is that carphone warehouse were not just the "middle men" we thought they were, they are the ones that actually bill us every month.

Now this is still not the problem......I recently bought my husband the 02 3gs iphone, and phoned carphone warehouse to change the tariff that he currently has, to get him unlimited internet useage (that the iphone needs) and was told that they cannot do that as carphone warehouse do not support the iphone?!? This now means i have an iphone that can only be used off of wi-fi as internet out of roaming range is very expensive. The only thing the sympathetic lot at carphone warehouse have said is that i can cancel my contract (£451.....which i cant really afford and begrudge paying) and they will transfer me direct to 02 to take out the iphone tariff!!! so what do i do?? i have a top of the range iphone that is as much use as an ipod touch and there is apparently nothing i can do until november 2011!!!!

can anyone help?!?

Soloution:

(Assuming you own the iphone) - sell it and pay off the remainder of your contract with CW (should jusrt about cover it). Take out new contract with CW for iphone.

I hope someone can help but as I understand it you have a contract which runs until November 2011.
I don't understand about the handset though- are you saying you originally got a handset from CW when you took out the contract and then you went out and bought an iphone?
You possibly should have checked the terms of the contract before buying an iPhone!

You could get a PAYG sim to put in it...

sorry, there is nothing you can do except pay your contract
