Further to my previous thread ... if I want to join Facebook can anyone find my email address or does it stay private ?

You can hide your email address so that no-one can see it, or you can choose to display it

You can adjust your profile so that only your friends can see your email address.

I have ones for just such a reason - on here too. Never give your real day-to-day email address out or you will be spammed for ever. Hotmail is handy. GMail no0t so much anymore - they send a text to confirm and will only issue one email account per phone number. Life used to be so much simpler...
