My O/H has broken the plastic adjuster on the Thermostatic Radiator Valve with the vacumn cleaner and has bought a completly new one from `Wicks`. Is it easier to just but a new plastic top and screw it on?

Hmm, on my radiators, you simply unscrew the complete thermostatic unit using the chrome ring (leaving the brass valve still in the rad) and screw a new control back on.
