Will my ipod work ok in the Dom Rep?

I know they have a different voltage and when I've been in Florida my straightners and hairdryer have worked but not powerfully. Just wondered if it will affect the ipod in anyway as don't want to pack it if it won't work.

Though I assume you really want to know if the charger will work in the dom rep? To which the answer is, yes (with the correct adaptor for the plug).
If you want to double check yourself just look on the charger, it should say something like input voltage 110-240volt 50-60Hz
