Email: Failure

I'm trying to apply for a job and you have to send your CV in by email. I try doing this but every time i get an email back straight away from [email protected] saying 'This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification. Delivery to the following recipients failed.'
EVERY TIME!!! How do i get it to send?

Yeah it's new look actually!! Hahah but they're only looking for 5 hrs a week so it's ideal.. it just won't work which is strange and really annoying!

I know a main buyer for New Look.
Just make sure the email address is spot on .. Some emails may get rejected if you send them in html .. So if you are sure of the address, try sending as text format with the cv attached.

If I were you I'd telephone and enquire if there is anything wrong with the email address as you have been trying unsuccessfully to send CV. Assume there are no tiny mistakes on your part with the address? Just a long shot.

Email is definitely right. One thing i have noticed is when i put the email into the 'To:' bit it comes up with a red box around it..? I think this is just because they're not in my contacts though?

Yeah i have seen that but the place i am applying to is in a shopping centre and that job is not showing on the newlook website.. on the shopping cnetre's website it says to send you cv to .... (email adress)

So places dont like emails with attachments due to viruses etc.

Trying sending a "test" email with no attachment.

You could try sending it from a gmail account. My daughter's school block emails from Hotmail accounts

Check the size of the attachment - if it's over 10mb, Hotmail can't carry it.

Gmail (Googlemail) allows 25mb files. Setting up an account is quick and easy.
