If a passenger in my car is injured by the seat belt buckle can they claim

How were they injured? Was it too tight? Did they cut themselves on it? How badly injured were they?
They can only claim if you were negligent in your driving or the other driver was, or if there was a fault with the seat belt buckle you knew about and ignored.
cant for the life of me see how anyone can hurt themself on the seat belt buckle, seatbelts are there for your safety and protection..
