On 12th December last year I stupidly tripped and went down on my right side.  Was in pain and ended up in hospital for 4 days. CT scan showed I had (as stated on my discharge letter} a minimally displaced fracture across the right greater trochanter. Had to look this up as I had never heard of it, but it is a very small bone and fuses itself. My question is about driving.  I am now pain free and moving about freely.  Can't find any appropriate link on the DVLA website.  I will try to speak to my GP on Monday but just wondered if anyone else had fractured this bone?  Apparently very common. Just want to get back driving ASAP but don't want to invalidate my insurance.

Thanks for the link Chris.  That's very informative. Saw an OT and Physio while in hospital but have not heard a dickie bird since. Will try out the suggested exercises.  Thanks again.
