I have been quoted a increase of 56% on my dogs renewal policy the only addition is that the dog is a year older now No claims have been made He is now 6yo.
Do members have the same experience from the robbing insurance sector. Inflation has been about 2.5-4.7% in the last year

I am dog-less at the moment but I remember when my dog grew older the insurance increased considerably. I never made any claims in the 12 years we had her, pity there's no such thing as no-claims bonus for pet insurance!
yes just today i had the new premium, last years was 11.43 per month this year they want 23.46 per month, also no claims have been made.
obviously depends on what dog you have and history etc etc etc , I was with tesco pet insurance for the first time last year , special price was 8.56, good i thought , this years premium came and it was 12.95, I rang them and they said this was correct and Its because the online introduction has now been used, said i was not happy and could they do anything about it , they said no , anyway after trawling through the internet i tried tesco's again just to check , well it came out at a very reasonable 8.79, I rang them told them and they said the only way round it was to take the policy out in my wifes name instead of mine so thats what we have done , and guess what , next year the poIicy will be back in my name and we will do exactly the same to get the introductory offer of 40% discount .
shop around - same as your car and home insurance

the post office are a new player in the pet ins market - get a quote online and compare. No idea if they're dear or not, but my home ins worked out very good indeed.
there's a discount code of 0051047 but I'm not sure how much you'd get off pet ins (50 off hme is)
