mobile phone insurance

My son has an 18mnth contract with orange,he is on his tenth month now,and has just had his tenth phone,the phone he has fails to work after about a month,orange keep sending him refurbished phones.surley should they not send him a brand new phone after all these phones have been returned as faulty ? can any one tell me where we stand on this.thanx

For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Hi - if the phone are failing due to a fault then I would imagine he is entitled to a new phone or full refund but this is not really an insurance matter - someone on the Law site might help you re consumer rights. On the other hand if he is damaging it and they are replacing it then what they send him should fall in line with the insurance policy terms and conditions that they have sold him - and that may say they will send a refurbed phone.
