Seems like the most apropriate topic to put this in.

How do I find out my NI number? Or is there anything that I might have in my house that would have it on?

its not as if you kept on about it after youd had the answer...................
molly, all ni numbers are the same. just copy one of your friends numbers.
RATTER.... :-)

Molly...listen carefully. The only thing you can do is get in touch with HMRC. You do not have to drag another thread out with your 'buts'
All national insurance numbers are not the same. Each person has a different number. Mine is JH ** ** ** C.
Great advice Annie...
same as mine, nm
Molly, take no notice of Ann ass quiff.

Every person has an individual number.
You would have been given what is called a Child Reference Number (CRN) when the claim for Child Benefit was made. That number is also used as the National Insurance Number. If yir mum knows her Child Benefit Reference Number, she could contact the Child Benefit Office to-day on 08453 021 444 and see if they will tell her the CRN allocated to you when she claimed the Child Benefit for you.

Molly, did you ring today, are they sending your number out to you?
Mine is put on my wage slip.
Your wage slips or P60 or P45 (including current or old) should be showing your NI number...
mustanglady, that's helpful but molly's 17, she's still at school.
Molly, just click on my link.. listen to Auntie Sara!
If she hasnt started work yet she wont have one.

razza, it's already been posted on here that everyone gets sent one when they are coming up to 16, you need an NI number for more than work, you need it for taxable savings etc. Molly's either lost it or they forgot to send her one.
My daughter didn't get one.
