New to this game, so how do put a link to a page when answering a question?

you simply type the web address that you want to link to e.g.


www.google.co.uk


www.bbc.co.uk

Right click, select copy, right click in your answer box - then select paste. This should work

Nice one. Easier than i thought.

Just one thing to watch out for though.
Always press the spacebar after pasting in the link. If you press enter or return, then the AnswerBank software will add <P> to the end of the link and then it won't work for others.


Another tip:
You don't have to leave the (long and often rather meaningless) URL visible in your code. You can carefully highlight it and type in replacement text BUT DO NOT PRESS THE SPACEBAR or it will end the link. If you want spaces in the link, type all the letters and then go back and put the spaces in afterwards.

Thanks gen. I must be getting old, i am more than sure i would have figured this out kinaesthetically a few years ago.... oh the pains of being 22 haha!! ISH.
LOL ...we have just had this one and stevie21's link only works for me using Internet Explorer....replacing the URL with text won't work using Firefox for some reason.........well, not for me at least...commoner.
