Can I get help with childcare costs?

My partner works 22hours a week and I have just enrolled on a full time college course. We are currently getting child tax credit and working tax credit but I cant seem to find any help with childcare costs.
My partners work hours overlap with my college hours and the majority of the nurseries in my area are between 35-42 per day which I just cant afford at all! Tax credits say we both need to be working to claim help from them.
Can anyone help with as to who I can claim help from?
