i have this college assignment and i have no idea where to start: i need to make notes on the six stages of film production - negotiating a deal, pre-production and preparation, production, post-production, distribution and marketing, exhibition. anyone got any ideas? know a good site? i do know this stuff but my mind has gone completely blank. helllllppp!!!

If you live near a large bookshop like Borders or Waterstones, try their film section, I'm sure there must be some current or recent book that guides the beginner through film production. Good luck.

Go to IMDb, the best film site on the web (it's here ) and register. It's free, and they only need your name, email address and password (far as I can recall).
