Uni Grants

I'm going to Uni next September (2008)
I've been told because i'm the first born I get a grant or money in some form.
Can anyone help me here cause I've not read anything about this.

I have a son who wants to go to uni soon and like you he is the first one in our family to go, I think that you have to phone your local council education dept and they will help you access grant info to colleges, uni etc.
